In the aftermath of the exhibition of the Cords of light (work 03) there was interest for retaining the work in the church for a while longer still.
At the same time, we were bound by the practicalities of the rented arial work platform and had to take the work down. So, we decided to display it for the following month laying in front of the altar as though it had fallen off the beam and floated itself into this position.
This allowed the church community a much closer inspection of the work than suspended above them and the opportunity to recognize some of the fabrics they had donated within the work.
